Role: Web Designer and Developer
Overview
Animal Law Focus is a global nonprofit dedicated to advancing animal law. As their Web Designer & Developer, I have been managing and improving their Squarespace website since January 2024, after it transitioned from GoDaddy for better usability and maintenance. My role focuses on custom design, international accessibility, and SEO strategy, all while working within a tight nonprofit budget.
The Challenge
- Platform Transition: Moving from GoDaddy (difficult to manage) to Squarespace (more flexible & user-friendly)
- Email List Loss: The organization lost its old subscribers during migration, requiring a fresh start with Brevo
